Winnipeg police issue arrest warrant for 25-year-old man after double stabbing at downtown Airbnb

Two stabbed at Airbnb party

Winnipeg police are looking for a 25-year-old man after two people were stabbed at a downtown Airbnb apartment on Sunday morning.

The stabbing happened around 1 a.m., at 265 Portage Avenue in a fifth-floor suite of an apartment block called The Avenue.

Constable Rob Carver said five people were having a party in the suite when an argument took place.

The two males were rushed to hospital with stab wounds. Both are in stable condition.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect, but police are not naming him.

The investigation continues.
