Winnipeg police say the death of a woman whose body was found in a recycling depot last year wasn’t a homicide.
On September 28, 2018 police responded to a report of suspicious circumstances after a female body was found mixed in with recycling materials at a depot in the 100 block of Omands Creek.
The deceased was later identified as 33-year old Mary Madeline Yellowback from God’s River in Manitoba.

Yellowback was a mother of six children.
At the time police said they believed her body was transported from a secondary location and the homicide unit was investigating.
On Tuesday police said it has been determined that her death was not a homicide.
They haven’t released any details on how she died.
