UPDATE: The Manitoba RCMP conducted a helicopter search on Wednesday afternoon by the Gods Lake Narrow and located a group of overdue hunters on the shores of Mosquito Lake.
All are in good health and are back with their families in Gods River.
On Tuesday at 7:10 pm, RCMP received a report of four overdue hunters, two adults and two youths aged 12 and 16 years-old, from God’s River.
The group was dropped off in the area of Mosquito Lake on October 8.
They were scheduled to be picked up on October 11, however a chartered plane was unable to land on the lake due to poor weather.
RCMP were concerned the hunters only brought enough food for their intended 3-day trip and could be sleeping in tents as there are no cabins in the area.
