Three people killed in two separate incidents overnight

Winnipeg police are investigating homicides 34, 35, and 36 of the year.

On Saturday, at 10:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a stabbing at a Halloween party at a residence in the 100 block of Kinver Avenue.

Upon arrival officers located two female victims, a 14-year-old and an 18-year-old. Both were transported to hospital in critical condition.

The 14-year-old succumbed to her injuries.

The 18-year-old victim remains in hospital in stable condition.

Members of the Homicide Unit continue to investigate.

Double Homicide

In the other incident, police were called to Ross Avenue and Isabel Street at 2:30 a.m., Sunday, where two men were reported down in the back alley.

Officers found the men suffering from serious upper-body injuries. They were transported to hospital in critical condition, but both succumbed to their injuries.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
