Winnipeg police investigate after four people injured in shotgun attack

Winnipeg police are investigating after a shotgun attack injured four people including a baby.

According to a media release, on Sunday, at 3:15 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the 400 block of Flora Avenue.

A suspect male opened the door of a residence and fired a shotgun into the home before fleeing.

The shot struck three adults and an infant inside the house,. All four victims were transported to hospital. The three adults are now in stable condition.

The infant’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, however an updated status is not available at this time.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
