RCMP have made several arrests in relation to the homicide of a man in Moose Lake, Manitoba.
On November 1, 2019, at approximately 4:25 am, RCMP received a report that a 37-year-old man had been assaulted. He was located in a field in Moose Lake and taken to the nursing station where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Sunday, 26-year-old Brendan Mercredi Spence, from Moose Lake, was arrested and charged with second degree murder. The following day, 37-year-old Clayton Mercredi, from Moose Lake, and 25 year-old Errol Mink, from Easterville, were arrested by RCMP and charged with second degree murder.
All three were remanded into custody and will be appearing in court, in The Pas, on November 7.
RCMP continue to investigate.
Moose Lake is located in southeast Manitoba about 150 kilometres from Winnipeg.
