Regina police investigating weekend death as homicide

Regina police are investigating a man’s death over the weekend as a homicide.

On Sunday, at approximately 4:00 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Queen Street, for a report of a male lying in the street.

Police and EMS went to the area and located a deceased man.

The major crimes unit, forensic identification and a coroner were called to the scene.

The victim has been identified as Keenan Scott Toto, 23.

Police haven’t released how Toto died.

His death is Regina’s ninth homicide of 2019.

Police continue to investigate.
