Inmate serving life sentence dies in custody at Stony Mountain

A 34-year-old man who was serving a life sentence at a Manitoba prison died on Sunday.

Tyson Roulette, an inmate from Stony Mountain Institution died while in custody, says Correctional Services of Canada.

Roulette had been serving a life sentence for Mischief Causing Danger to Life, Attempted Murder – Use Firearm, and Manslaughter since January 31, 2011.

Roulette’s next of kin have been notified of his death.

Correctional Service Canada is investigating.
