
Winnipeg police have charged a man in connection to a fatal shooting in South Pointe, last year.
On November 4, at around 11:45 p.m., police found a deceased man with apparent gunshot wounds at a residence in the first 100 block of Tim Sale Drive. The victim was identified as Rig Debak Moulebou, 20.
On January 22, police arrested Arnold Mbaka Nduta, 23. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
Nduta was detained in custody.

In high school, Moulebou was a well-known and popular football player for the Daniel McIntyre Maroons and won a championship with the team in 2017.
His death marked the city’s 40th homicide of 2019.
