In Photos: Winnipeg’s homeless take precautions against COVID-19

Members of Winnipeg’s homeless community who are concerned about the COVID-19 crisis donned medical gloves and masks while panhandling and flagging traffic (holding out signs for donations) at Main Street and the Disraeli Freeway on Wednesday afternoon.

Warren Redhead said for the homeless self-isolation isn’t possible and they wanted to take precautions to protect themselves and the passing motorists who gave them spare change and food.
