Winnipeg police were on scene of an officer-involved shooting that killed a man in the city’s North End on Thursday.
Police responded to a residence in the 300 block of Anderson Avenue, just after 4:30 a.m., for a report of a man armed with a firearm during a domestic incident. A 36-year-old man was shot by police at approximately 5:10 a.m. He was rushed to hospital but died.
The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba is investigating the shooting.
