Winnipeg police investigating homicide after man found injured outside home on Furby Street

Winnipeg police are investigating the death of a man who was found injured in front of a home in the city’s West End on Sunday morning.

According to a media release, at approximately 5:40 a.m., police responded to the 500 block of Furby Street for a report of an injured male.

Upon arrival, officers located a man outside of a residence suffering from serious injuries. The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced deceased.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.
