Winnipeg police identify victim of homicide on Charles Street

Winnipeg police are investigating after a man was found dead inside an apartment in the William Whyte area on Sunday.

According to a media release, on November 22, at 2:26 a.m., police responded to an apartment building in the 300 block of Charles Street for a report of an unresponsive individual that had been found.

Upon arrival, officers located a deceased man inside a suite. He has been identified as Ronald Dennis Ducharme, 33, of Winnipeg.

Police say his death is being treated as a homicide.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.
