
The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a house fire on Beverley Street in the Daniel McIntyre neighbourhood on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a media release, at 12:13 p.m., when crews arrived on scene, flames and smoke were coming from a home in the 500 block of Beverley Street.


Firefighters launched a defensive attack, transitioning to an offensive attack as conditions improved.
The fire was declared under control at 1:35 p.m..


Crews searched the home and confirmed there was no one inside.
Occupants of neighbouring homes were evacuated as a precaution.

There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
