Homicide unit investigating death of man at Furby Street residence

Winnipeg police are investigating a homicide after a man was found injured and died on Christmas Eve.

According to a media release, on December 24, at approximately 5:40 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the 500 block of Furby Street after an injured male had been found in a residence.

A man in his 30’s, was transported to hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced deceased.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.
