
Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) crews extinguished a structure fire on Manitoba Avenue near Main Street on Sunday morning.
At 11:24 a.m., the WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a vacant two-and-a-half-storey house in the 200 block of Manitoba Avenue.
When crews arrived on scene, they encountered smoke coming from the house. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at around 12:00 p.m.
Firefighters completed a search of the house and no occupants were found.

No injuries were reported and no damage estimates are currently available.
This was the second house fire that occurred on the same street over the weekend.
On Friday evening, the WFPS extinguished a fire at a vacant one-and-a-half storey house in the 400 block of Manitoba Avenue.
No injuries were reported in that incident.
Both blazes are still under investigation.
